The Mazar-Kabul-Peshawar railway will be built
Afghanistan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Kazakhstan recently agreed to start working together to build the Mazar-Kabul-Peshawar railway.
The agreement was reached after a joint meeting of these countries in Tashkent, and the length of this two-thousand-kilometer railway is said to connect Central Asia with South Asia through Afghanistan.
ADB will pay the cost of building this railroad, and by creating it, Afghanistan will receive about 400-500 million dollars in transit each year, besides, 30 thousand jobs will be created for the citizens of the country.
